Being able to taste well is essential for creating balanced, sometimes complex flavours. International training in wine and spirits led Alwine to the National Gin Museum in Schiedam. In her time as a distiller and director of the Jenevermuseum, she gained a lot of practical experience. She became involved in a large bee project of the BeeSerious Foundation. The proceeds of the mead and distillates are used to support this project.
